Dolly De Leon nominated for best supporting actress at BAFTAs

Filipina actress Dolly De Leon, who has won widespread acclaim for her performance in "Triangle of Sadness," has been nominated for best supporting actress at the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards in the UK.

De Leon's turn as Abigail, the cruise ship worker who upends the power dynamic after a shipwreck in Ruben Östlund's black comedy, won her a Los Angeles Critics Award and a Golden Globe nomination.

“Triangle of Sadness” also won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and is tipped as a possible Best Picture contender at the upcoming Academy Awards.
