Ech member was given the chance to introduce themselves in which the fans responded with loud screams erupting all the way from the third floor down to the ground level of the mall.
“Na-miss ko kayo, MIDZY,” Lia said. “We are so grateful! You guys can’t imagine how surprised we were today when we came here, seeing you guys, filling up this whole place. We did not expect this much people waiting for us here.”

The group’s leader, Yeji, even expressed her glee about the Philippines as the first stop of their Asia tour, hoping that they would be able to spend more time with their beloved fans.
“It’s been two years since we’ve been in the Philippines. The Philippine [MIDZY] was so passionate like today,” Ryujin said. “We really had a great memory. Thank you for coming here too!”
In fact, one of the fondest memories during their first Philippine event that Ryujin described as heartwarming was when their Filipino fans sang a birthday song for Yuna’s birthday that made the singer cry.
“For the past years, we have received so much love not only from the Philippines but also globally and we are so thankful for that,” Lia said.
When asked which place from the Philippines they would love to visit, on behalf of the group, Chaeryeong answered Boracay.
“Please take me there,” she added.
She also mentioned that they are craving for a taste of halo-halo! “Let’s have a great day tomorrow and the next,” ITZY’s maknae, Yuna said.
ITZY will be performing in Manila for their two-night concert on January 14 and 15 at the Mall of Asia Arena as part of their first world tour.
Debuting in 2019, ITZY held their Premiere Showcase tour in Manila last December of the same year. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
