Lucien Laviscount of 'Emily in Paris' reportedly up for James Bond role

Actor Lucien Laviscount of "Emily in Paris" is reportedly one of the contenders to be the next James Bond.

According to The Daily Mail, the actor is said to have caught the attention of Barbara Broccoli, producer and boss of the James Bond movie franchise.

Broccoli's father, Albert R. Broccoli, was the original producing co-founder of the Bond franchise, adapting Ian Fleming's books on the 007 agent to become box office hits.

The movie producers are also apparently looking for a relatively young actor to fill the role for the next 15 years. And at age 30, Laviscount checks that box.

Aside from playing a love interest of the main character on the hit Netflix show, "Emily in Paris," starting back in season 2, the UK-born actor turned on the charm and recently went viral for flirting with actress Drew Barrymore on the latter's talk show, "The Drew Barrymore Show."

Aaron Taylor Johnson is also reportedly up for the coveted James Bond role. Most recently, he was said to have met with the Bond producers.

Other actors that were up for the James Bond role in the past include Idris Elba ("Thor") and Henry Cavill ("Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice"). —Kimberly Tsao/KG, GMA Integrated News
