iKON officially signs with 143 Entertainment –report
South Korean boy band iKON officially signed with new management, 143 Entertainment.
According to the boy band's statement published in the Korean pop culture website Soompi, iKON would continue with their music to “more passionately” repay the warm support and love given by their fans dubbed “iKONIC.”
“The members came together with the continuation of group activities as the top priority, and our thoughts aligned with 143 Entertainment, the company of Producer DM [whom] we have interacted with musically for a long time,” said the band.
Before 2022 ended, YG Entertainment announced the disassociation of iKON within its management.
iKON, composed of Jay, Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne, and Chan, debuted in 2015 following the reality survival shows “WIN: Who is Next” and “Mix & Match.” — DVM, GMA Integrated News
