YG Entertainment teases new girl group

YG Entertainment has got something up their sleeves.

On Instagram, one of the top agencies in South Korea teased they will be introducing a new girl group on January 1, 2023 at 12 a.m., or 11 p.m. in the Philippines.

Against a red background, silhouettes of seven women are seen. The title Next Movement is written across the top as well as the words “coming soon” both in all caps.

The announcement on Friday comes after news of the group iKON left the agency.

Early this week, BIGBANG members Daesung and Taeyang also left YG after their contracts expired.

Some of the artists part of YG’s management include BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BIGBANG. 2NE1 and Psy were also previously part of the agency. — LA, GMA Integrated News
