Lee Jong Suk tests positive for COVID-19
Lee Jong Suk tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to a Soompi report, the Korean actor's agency, High Zium Studio, shared the update through a statement Monday.
"On November 20, Lee Jong Suk received a positive result on a self-test kit, and immediately proceeded with a PCR test. Today, he was diagnosed with COVID-19," the statement read.
"Jong Suk has canceled all his scheduled events and is concentrating on self-isolation and treatment in accordance with the guidelines set by the government healthcare authorities."
The report said Jong Suk's test came back negative a day prior. However, an event staff showed a cold, which urged the actor to take another one.
Jong Suk is currently part of the movie "Decibel," where he plays a Navy captain. His other shows are "W," "While You Were Sleeping," "Pinocchio," and "Doctor Stranger," among others.
