Jimmy Kimmel returns as host for 95th Academy Awards

Jimmy Kimmel is returning as host for the 95th Academy Awards.

The Academy made the announcement on social media, Monday, giving the host a warm welcome back to the show.

"Being invited to host the Oscars for a third time is either a great honor or a trap," Kimmel said in a statement shared in a New York Times report.

"Either way, I am grateful to the academy for asking me so quickly after everyone good said no," the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host jokingly added.

As of this writing, the announcement has attracted over a thousand reactions from Oscars fans who are delighted by it.

Kimmel previously hosted the prestigious awarding ceremony in 2017 and 2018.

The Oscars will be held on March 12, 2023. Welcome back, Jimmy!
