'Heartstopper' star Kit Connor 'forced' to come out as bisexual: 'You missed the point of the show'
British actor Kit Connor has come out as bisexual, saying that he felt "forced" to do so.
The "Heartstopper" star, whose sexuality has been debated online, took to Twitter to slam those who contributed to the pressure.

"I’m bi. Congrats for forcing an 18 year old to out himself," he said. "I think some of you missed the point of the show. Bye."
This statement was released amid accusations of "queerbaiting" on social media because photos of him holding hands with Maia Reficco surfaced. The two star in “A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow" together.
However, Connor's sexuality has been scrutinized enough that he was compelled to addressed it back in May.

"Twitter is so funny man. Apparently some people on here know my sexuality better than I do," he said.
He deleted his Twitter app in September.

In an earlier interview in the "Reign With Josh Smith" podcast, Connor said that he was comfortable with his sexuality and preferred not to use labels.
"We’re still all so young. To start sort of speculating about our sexualities and maybe pressuring us to come out when maybe we’re not ready," he said. "I don’t feel like I need to label myself, especially not publicly.”
Connor and Joe Locke star in Netflix's popular series "Heartstopper," which tells the story of teenage boys Nick and Charlie as they fall in love and navigate high school.
Following its success, the show was renewed for a second season. —JCB, GMA News
