Henry Cavill to return as Superman in future DC films

Henry Cavill hasn't hung up his red cape as of yet!

In fact, he has confirmed that he will return to play the iconic hero in future DC films.

The actor made the announcement in the mid-credits scene of "Black Adam."

“I wanted to make it official — I am back as Superman,” he said. "Thank you for your support and for your patience.”

Cavill's Superman made a cameo in "Black Adam," and he said that it was just "a very small taste of things to come."

He first played Superman in the 2013 film "Man of Steel." His last portrayal of the superhero was in the 2017 film "Justice League." —JCB, GMA News
