Taylor Swift releases an extended version of ‘Midnights' with 7 more songs
“Midnights” is the gift that keeps on giving.
On Twitter, Spotify announced that Taylor Swift has released an extended version of “Midnights" with seven bonus tracks at 3 a.m. — a few hours after the original record dropped.
As such, the extended version is called "Midnights (3 a.m. Edition)."
The seven new songs are called “The Great War,” “Bigger than the Whole Sky,” “Paris,” “High Infidelity,” “Glitch,” “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve,” and “Dear Reader.”
Taylor talked a bit more about the surprise release on Instagram. She said that although “Midnights” is already a complete concept album, “with those 13 songs forming a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour,” there were other songs they wrote throughout the album journey.
“I’m calling them 3am tracks,” Taylor said.
“Lately I’ve been loving the feeling of sharing more of our creative process with you, like we do with From The Vault tracks. So it’s 3am and I’m giving them to you now.”
