BLACKPINK'S Lisa wins Best K-pop, shares moment with BLACKPINK sisters
BLACKPINK'S Lisa bagged the 2022 MTV VMAs Best K-Pop trophy for her solo album "Lalisa."
Lisa beat other nominees like BTS ("Yet to Come"), Seventeen ("Hot"), Twice ("The Feels"), Itzy ("Loco"), and Straykids ("Maniac").
According to reports, the recognition made Lisa the first ever solo K-pop artist to win at the VMAs, making her stage time quite endearing.
As she was accepting her trophy, Lisa called out and waved to her BLACKPINK bandmates, who excitedly waved back their support and made hand hearts.
On Twitter, MTV caught the BLACKPINK girls giving Lisa a hug as she went down to collect her award, too.

Lisa's win is quite another lovely feather on her cap as BLACKPINK earlier in the evening marked yet another first: Their explosive performance of upcoming single "Pink Venom" is BLACKPINK's first performance at a U.S. awards show.
Meanwhile, the group won the Best Metaverse performance for "BLACKPINK The Virtual."
