BLACKPINK's Jennie introduced as Jennie Ruby Jane in trailer of upcoming HBO series 'The Idol'
BLACKPINK's Jennie is going to be in the new HBO series "The Idol," topbilled by none other than Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd.
In the latest trailer, the K-pop sensation is introduced as Jennie Ruby Jane and is seen partying with Johnny Depp's daughter.
In the trailer, Lily-Rose, with a cigarette in hand, asks Jennie, "What was the name of that club?" before the two were seen hitting the clubs for a night of partying.
"The Idol," created by The Weekend and "Euphoria" mastermind Sam Levinson, looks just as intense as the HBO cult favorite that stars Zendaya.
According to Soompi, the series revolves around a pop singer (Lily-Rose Depp) who gets into a relationship with a cult leader (The Weeknd).
It's a star-studded series that also features Dan Levy ("Schitt's Creek"), Hank Azaria ("The Simpsons"), and more. — LA, GMA News
