John Travolta honors Olivia Newton-John: ‘Your Danny, your John’

John Travolta paid tribute to his “Grease” leading lady Olivia Newton-John in an Instagram post, following her sad passing.

“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much.”

“We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!” the actor wrote.

He signed his post with, “Your Danny, your John!”

Apart from the hit movie musical, John and Olivia starred in the 1983 film “Two of a Kind” and they performed songs for its official soundtrack.

It was announced early on Tuesday (Philippine time) that Olivia had “passed away peacefully” at 73, at her ranch in Southern California surrounded by family and friends.

A pop icon, Olivia is best known for “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” from “Grease,” as well as the songs “Physical,” “Let Me Be There,” “I Honestly Love You,” and many more. — LA, GMA News
