Beomgyu of TXT to focus on recovering from health condition amid US concert tour
Beomgyu of TXT is not feeling well at the moment, according to BigHit Music.
According to the agency, the Tomorrow X Together member started feeling unwell on July 11 while on tour in the United States. He sought consultation from a local doctor and was advised that he could participate in the group’s performances.
Beomgyu performed at their Atlanta show earlier today, but he stepped away during some parts of the concert “as he felt that his condition was not fully recovered.”
BIgHit said the singer would be taking a rest after the Atlanta show and focusing on his recovery.
“While the artist himself strongly wishes to participate in all future schedules for the tour, we are prioritizing his health above all and approach his participation in the rest of the US tour with necessary flexibility and caution,” said the agency.
“We will continue to support Beomgyu in his rapid recovery to ensure he stays healthy to perform in front of the fans.”
TXT opened their “Act: Love Sick” world tour in Seoul on July 2 followed by performances the following week in Chicago, New York, and Atlanta.
Their next US shows will be held starting July 14 in Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
