Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed reunite to talk all things 'Twilight'

Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed, famous for their roles as Alice Cullen and Rosalie Hale in the “Twilight” film franchise, have reunited!

According to Nikki’s Instagram post, the mini-reunion happened because Ashley invited her on “The Twilight Effect” podcast.

On the podcast, Ashley with co-host and best friend Melanie Howe rewatch and comment on the films, share behind-the-scenes gossip, and interview cast members about the most unforgettable time in their lives.

Fourteen years since the first movie came out, Nikki looked back on her time as the fierce Rosalie, what she would have done differently, her favorite moments with the cast, and the magic of “Twilight.”

“I must admit when [Ashley] first asked me to jump on with her I wasn’t sure if I was ready to revisit a chapter that held some of the most significant memories of my life, but I am so glad I did,” Nikki wrote on Instagram.

“I hope you guys join us for our little convo, and wherever you are in the world I hope it brings a tiny smile to your face knowing that the Hale/Cullen sisters are back reliving some of the good old days," she added.

Ashley likewise expressed her love and appreciation for Nikki on Instagram.

“We've been through ups and downs and [‘Twilight’] madness together and I couldn't be more proud of where we both are today. This was one of my favorite conversations on the #twilighteffect podcast and I can't wait for you to hear it. It was raw, genuine and brought up so many memories," she said.

The "Twilight" films, based on the popular books by Stephenie Meyer, first hit the big screen in 2008. The story follows Bella Swan as she relocates to Forks, Washington, and crosses paths with Edward Cullen and his family of vampires. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
