Jeonghan of Seventeen recuperating after elbow surgery
Jeonghan of Seventeen has just undergone surgery for his elbow.
According to Pledis Entertainment’s update on Friday, the K-Pop idol has been receiving injections for an infection and damage on the outer tendon of his right elbow.
After experiencing increased pain, medical staff advised him that his lateral epicondylitis and tendon damage had worsened and surgery was needed.
The agency said the operation held Wednesday was successful, and Jeonghan had been recuperating since his discharge Thursday.

Pledis said the singer would be wearing a cast and a brace for the time being.
“The artist is highly determined to attend all of the group’s prearranged engagements; however, his participation will be adjusted depending on the circumstances, placing his recovery as the top most priority as per recommended by the medical staff,” said the agency.
It also said Jeonghan would be joining Seventeen’s scheduled activities, including their “Be The Sun” world tour while still receiving medical treatment, “so long as it does not put too much strain on his recovery.”
“We ask our fans for your kind consideration,” said Pledis. “We will do our best to aid in Jeonghan’s treatment and recovery so that he can return in full health to his fans as quickly as possible.” – RC, GMA News
