BTS has arrived in Washington D.C.

BTS has arrived in Washington on Sunday, according to Korean news channel Arirang.

Earlier, "Have a safe flight" trended on Philippine Twitter as the Korean super group flew to the States to meet with President Joe Biden on May 31.

According to news reports, BTS and the US President will discuss "Asian inclusion and representation" as well as "address anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination, which have become more prominent in recent years."

Arirang said the visit will mark the end of Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander heritage month, celebrated every May.

This isn't the first time BTS met with a world leader. In September 2021, BTS also made headlines when they attended the United Nations General Assembly.
