Halsey gets diagnosed with multiple health conditions, says she’s ‘allergic to literally everything’
Halsey took to social media to update her fans that she’s been diagnosed with multiple health conditions.
On Instagram stories uploaded Tuesday, the American singer said her health has changed since getting pregnant and giving birth to her first child.
“I’m allergic to literally everything,” she said. “I started getting really really sick. I’ve been kind of sick pretty much most of my adult life but it started getting really bad.”
“Basically, after seeing like a hundred thousand doctors, I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Sjogren’s Syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome).”
In a TikTok video, Halsey said among the things she’s allergic to include coffee, potatoes, garlic, shrimp, carrots, milk, turkey, celery, lemons, coconuts, bananas, peanuts, and crab, among others.
The artist said she is “still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things, but is already on a treatment plan. She is also still preparing for her upcoming “Love and Power Tour.”
“I’m really excited, really confident that I’m going to be able to do it in a way that’s healthy, where I can perform my best for all of you,” she said.
