Kim Seon Ho returns to IG after controversy with ex-gf, apologizes to fans
Koren actor Kim Seon Ho has returned to Instagram and apologized to his fans after the abortion controversy with his ex-girlfriend in 2021.
Sharing a pastel-colored photo of the sky Saturday, the Korean actor said he will be doing his best to go back to the spotlight for his followers.
“I’m sorry for my lack thereof to put you through a hard time. Thank you for celebrating my birthday this year too much,” he wrote in the caption in Korean, as translated to English by Instagram.
“I will be an actor who will be able to repay your support and will be able to return your support.”
As of writing, the “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” actor’s update has garnered 1.3 million likes and over 140K comments from fans welcoming him back. His last post prior Saturday was in October last year.
In 2021, Seon Ho was tagged in a forced abortion rumor with his ex-girlfriend, who later apologized for “unintentional damage.” The actor, meanwhile, has also already released a statement.
Shortly after the controversy rose, several brands affiliated with Seon Ho removed him from their official channels. He also left the KBS variety program “2 Days & 1 Night” and was removed from two films.
In November, it was reported that he will still be marking his movie debut with “Sad Tropics.” —Franchesca Viernes/KG, GMA News
