Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' reaches 1B streams on Spotify
If you're one of the people who streamed Ed Sheeran's songs on Spotify a gazillion times, don't worry, it's not considered a "Bad Habit." It might actually be a good one.
On social media Thursday, online steaming platform Spotify announced Sheeran's song "Bad Habits" just reached a whopping one billion streams, making it the English singer's 10th song to hit an impressive 1B stream.
Sheeran's nine other, erm, "Billionare" songs include "Perfect," "Shape of You," "Castle on the Hill," "Happier," "Beautiful People," "Galway Girl," "Photograph," Thinking Out Loud," and "I Don't Care."
On TikTok, Sheeran thanked everyone who has contributed to yet another milestone to his name.
"Hey, guys. I've just had "Bad Habits" hit a billion on Spotify, and I now have 10 in the billion. And I just want to say thank you so much for everyone streaming all these songs. I'm super, super grateful and glad you liked them," Sheeran said.
According to Spotify, Sheeran is the first artist to have reached 10 songs in the billions club.
Congrats, Ed! Let's keep "Bad Habits" in Spotify's billions club but away from our lives, please! — LA, GMA News
