Red Velvet's Seulgi tests positive for COVID-19

Red Velvet member Seulgi has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

In a statement published by Soompi, SM Entertainment said that the singer preemptively took a test and the results returned positive.

She is currently not experiencing any symptoms and is in self-isolation.

"Hence, Red Velvet’s scheduled music broadcast appearances on “M Countdown” on March 31 and “Music Bank” on April 1 have been canceled," the statement said.

Earlier this month, Red Velvet members Irene, Joy, and Yeri tested positive for COVID-19.

Due to this, the K-Pop girl group postponed their upcoming concert, which was set on March 19 and 20.

Their new mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm” was released last week as scheduled. —JCB, GMA News
