Jin of BTS undergoes surgery due to finger injury

BTS member Jin just underwent surgery for a finger injury, BigHit Music announced on Saturday.

In a statement on Weverse, the agency said that Jin injured his left index finger during his daily activities, and rushed to the emergency room for treatment on Friday.

Due to damage on the tendons, he underwent surgery to repair the extensor on his finger.

"The surgery went well according to the doctors," the statement said.

Jin was discharged from the hospital on Saturday morning and is currently resting. He will wear a cast for the time being, the statement added.

"Jin will focus on rest and treatment to fully recover from the injury and to resume his activities in good health," BigHit said. —JCB, GMA News
