PENTAGON member Yeo One injured in accident involving drunk driver

PENTAGON member Yeo One has sustained a back injury after getting into a car accident involving a drunk driver.

In a statement published by Soompi, Cube Entertainment said Yeo One will be temporarily halting activities as he recovers.

The label also revealed that the accident happened early in the morning of Feb. 9, but "due to a diagnosis of minor symptoms and Yeo One’s personal strong will," he still appeared on a live broadcast that afternoon.

"After wrapping up the scheduled activity, he expressed back pain while returning to the dorms. He visited the hospital, received the necessary medical measures, and is currently recovering," the statement said.

"Until Yeo One recovers from his injury, PENTAGON will temporarily continue promotions as seven members," it added.

PENTAGON recently made a comeback with the release of their 12th mini-album "IN:VITE: U."

The K-pop group also released a smooth and sexy music video for the title track "Feelin' Like." —JCB, GMA News
