Vin Diesel recalls ‘one of the best premieres ever in my life’ in the Philippines

With “Fast & Furious 9” premiering in Philippine theaters on Wednesday, Vin Diesel couldn’t help but remember the amazing time he had in the country before the pandemic.

On Iya Villania-Arellano’s “24 Oras” report, Tuesday, the actor playing Dom Toretto expressed how much he missed movie premieres with Filipino fans.

“One of the best premieres ever in my life, which is at least in the top three and maybe the best, was [in] the Philippines. It was such a wonderful experience,” he said.

The actor said he hoped it was possible to do it again. “I look forward to returning one day for a ‘Fast 10.’”

The ninth installment of the “Fast & Furious” movie franchise by Universal Pictures also stars John Cena (Jakob), Sung Kang (Han), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), and Tyrese Gibson (Roman), among other Hollywood stars.

Directed by Justin Lin, Fast & Furious 9 or “F9” follows Dom on his mission to stop a villainous plot led by Jakob—an assassin, a high-performance driver, and his brother.
