It's official: Gong Yoo launches personal Instagram account!


We're finally getting to see more glimpses of the Gong Yoo!

After evading the social media platform for years, Gong Yoo finally opened his own Instagram account to give thousands of his fans a closer look into his life.

The actor's agency Management SOOP announced the news on Wednesday, sharing that they've launched an official account for Gong Yoo, Soompi reported

"Thank you to all the fans who always support Gong Yoo," the agency said. "We opened an official Instagram account to convey the daily life of the actor Gong Yoo to all the fans."

According to Management SOOP, Gong Yoo has no other social media aside from the newly launched Instagram account, which is directly managed by the agency.

Gong Yoo first posted on Instagram Wednesday, sharing a photo of a squid on a plate, possibly referring to his special appearance in the record-breaking hit series "Squid Game."

In his second post, the actor showed the back of his basketball jersey while he wore a cap.

Within just three hours of posting, Gong Yoo has already garnered more than 337,000 followers.

The renowned actor, known for his iconic roles in "Train to Busan," "Coffee Prince," and "Goblin," is set to make his return to the small screen with his upcoming Netflix series "The Silent Sea" to premiere on December 24. — LA, GMA News
