NCT's Jaehyun confirmed to star in new drama

NCT's Jaehyun is starring in a new drama!

The singer and actor's agency SM Entertainment confirmed the news, according to a Soompi report on Tuesday.

The agency said, "It is true that Jaehyun is starring in an OTT drama remake of the film ‘Bungee Jumping of Their Own.'"

Prior to SM Entertainment's agency, industry representatives reported on Jaehyun's new project.

"“Bungee Jumping of Their Own," originally a film that premiered in 2001, revolves around a high school teacher Seo In Woo who struggles to overcome the death of his girlfriend In Tae Hee. He then meets a male student Im Hyun Bin who acts just like In Tae Hee.

Jaehyun is set to play the role of Im Hyun Bin in the remake.

The drama remake of “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” will be produced by Choi Nak Kwon, who also produced the original film.

To be directed by "Spring Day" director Kim Jong Hyuk, the drama will consist of 16 25-minute episodes.
