Kim Seon Ho to mark movie debut in ‘Sad Tropics’
Kim Seon Ho is now confirmed to mark his movie debut, after being removed from two upcoming films amid his recent controversy with an ex-girlfriend.
On Monday, Soompi reported that production company NEW decided to stick with the original cast for the movie “Sad Tropics.” Seon Ho will play one of the two main characters.
“After much deliberation, the producers of ‘Sad Tropics’ have decided to film the movie this year with actor Kim Seon Ho,” the statement read.
It was first announced in September that Seon Ho was reviewing the role for the movie. "Sad Tropics" circles around a Filipino-Korean aspiring boxer who goesto Korea to look for hi father.

In October, he was involved in a forced abortion controversy with his ex-girlfriend, for which he apologized, saying he is sorry for having caused pain “due to my carelessness and inconsiderate actions.”
Various companies later issued withdrawal from their projects with Kim Seon Ho, including upcoming movies “2 O’Clock Date” and “Dog Days.” He was also set to leave variety show “2 Days & 1 Night.”
Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend apologized for having caused “unintentional” damage with her post.
