BTS’s V performs at virtual concert despite leg injury

BTS’s V took part in the group's highly-anticipated virtual concert “BTS Permission to Dance On Stage” on October 24 (KST) despite having a leg injury.
In an earlier statement published by Soompi, Big Hit Music said V experienced pain in his calf muscles during rehearsal on October 23 and visited a nearby hospital for examination and treatment.
While medical personnel said there was “no issue affecting the bones in his legs,” he was advised to “refrain from vigorous movement such as choreography or stage performance for the time being."
As a result, BTS's V performed "while seated without choreography."
“While the artist himself strongly wished to participate in the performance in full, our company has decided to follow the physician’s advice and minimize V’s movements during today’s ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” Big Hit Music was quoted as saying.
