BTS’ V reaches 4M followers on Spotify

BTS member V just reached four million followers on Spotify!

As of writing, V’s account, which only features two songs — “Sweet Night” from “Itaewon Class” and “It’s Definitely You” from “Hwarang” — has exactly 4,001,298 followers and 1.9 million monthly listeners.

V, whose real name is Taehyung, is also trending on the second and third spots on Philippine Twitter with the hashtag #Taehyung4MSpotify and “4 Million for V.”

The global sensation also took the 14th spot with fans saying, “Congratulations, Taehyung.”

“Taehyung has reached 4M followers on Spotify and all of this in such a short span with only [two] [official soundtracks] in his name. Proud is an understatement,” one wrote.

“Taehyung has surpassed 4M followers on Spotify with only 2 [official soundtracks], his impact is so powerful and insane!” said another.

It certainly is an eventful day for BTS. Earlier Wednesday, “Fake Love” became the group’s fifth music video to surpass over a billion views.
