Park Seo Jun's fans can start rejoicing because it's finally official. The renowned South Korean actor will appear in a Hollywood film as he is confirmed to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
After much speculation, Park Seo Jun's agency finally confirmed that the actor would be part of a new Marvel Studios film.
According to a Soompi report, Awesome ENT announced that the actor flew out of Korea on Friday to shoot a Marvel film.
Although the agency declined to provide further details, it thanked the actors' fans for their support.
“We thank the many people who have shown interest and support for Park Seo Jun as he takes on this new challenge. We are well aware that many people are curious about the name of the film in which he will be appearing, his character, the filming location, and his filming schedule, but we plan to reveal the details of the movie at a later date," it said.
Reports about Seo Jun starring in a "Captain Marvel" sequel started circulating online in June after several Korean news outlets reported that the actor had reportedly been offered a role.
With Seo Jun's new project, he is set to become the third Korean actor to star in a Marvel film following Claudia Kim who appeared on "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and Ma Dong Seok who is set to star on "Eternals." – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
