Jang Ki Yong enlists in the military: ‘I’ll return strong and healthy’

Jang Ki Yong has enlisted in the military on Monday.

Hours ahead of his entrance to the service, the Korean actor shared a black and white photo of him sporting a new look and a handwritten letter. 

“I was able to spend my 20s happily thanks to the people who have loved and supported me until now. I sincerely thank you,” read the letter, according to a Soompi report.

“I’ll return strong and healthy for another amazing 30s. Thank you everyone, and I love you.”

Before enlisting, Ki Yong was busy filming for “Now, We Are Breaking Up” with Song Hye Kyo.

Ki Yong’s shows include “Go Back Couple,” “My Roommate is a Gumiho,” and “Sweet & Sour.” — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
