Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho start first script reading for upcoming romcom K-drama
Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho have started testing their chemistry during their first script-reading for their new upcoming K-drama romcom, "Seashore Village ChaChaCha."
According to a report on Soompi, the drama is a remake of the film "Mr. Hong," which follows the story of dentist Yoon Hye Jin and Hong Doo Shik, known as Mr. Hong in the village of Gongjin.
Min Ah will play as Yoon Hye Jin, a dentist and a woman who is known for her beauty and brains while Seon Ho will be taking the role of Hong Doo Shik, an unemployed man who is an expert with odd jobs, Soompi said.
The same report said during their first script reading, the two leading actors were impressed with their chemistry.
Meanwhile, their fellow actor Lee Sang Yi joined them for the first script reading, showing off his acting skills as he takes on the role of Ji Sung Hyun, a top variety show producer.
“Seashore Village ChaChaCha” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of this year, the Soompi report continued.
Seon Ho grew popular after starring in the recent hit Netflix K-Drama about youth, business, and dreams titled "Start-Up" where he played second lead starring with Nam Joo-hyuk and Bae Suzy.
