Rose Vega describes her ideal man after Big Ed in '90-Day Fiancé'

Rosemarie Vega became an inspiration to women all over the world when she finally decided to end things with Big Ed on "90-Day Fiancé."

In a recent interview with GMA Digital, Rose was asked what she looks for in a guy after her experience, and she had one very important thing in mind.

"For me po ang hinahanap ko na po talaga sa lalaki is, unang-una, respeto," Rose said.

[The first thing I'm now looking for in a man is respect.]

"Respeto talaga po ang pinakahinahanap ko. Respeto sa lahat ng kababaihan, respeto sa anak ko, respeto sa pamilya ko, respeto po sa pinanggalingan kong bansa, tsaka respeto na rin po sakin," she added.

[Respect is what I'm really looking for: Respect for women, respect for my child, respect for my family, respect for my country and respect for myself, as well.]

On "90-Day Fiancé," Rose got to know her American fiancé, Ed Brown, who she met online.

Rose eventually learned that Ed had lied about his height and appearance. He also failed to tell her immediately that he didn't want to have any more kids, which was very important to Rose.

Fans were also enraged over how Ed treated Rose as a partner, and how he reacted when she opened up her home and introduced him to her family and friends in the Philippines.

As a single mother who wanted nothing more than a better life for her son, Prince, Rose eventually did what she thought was best and called off the relationship.

In her interview with Dra. Anna on "Share Ko Lang," Rose was proud to say that she has completely "moved on" from Ed.

But despite her thriving career as a vlogger and influencer, Rose said she still wants nothing more than her son Prince to have a happy life, and to treat women with respect in the process.

"For me, ang gusto ko po kay Prince, lalo na at babae po ako, is kung paano niya po ako ginagalang bilang babae, ang mama niya, ganun din po siya sa paglaki niya," the mother said.

[As a woman, all I want is for Prince to respect women (when he grows up), just as he respects me, his mother]

"[I hope he would be] Respectful to women, to their families, and be a gentleman," Rose said in Filipino. — LA, GMA News
