Jenna Ortega to play as Wednesday Addams on upcoming Tim Burton live action series 'Wednesday'

Jenna Ortega is set to play Wednesday Addams on the upcoming Netflix live action series "Wednesday," based on the popular character from "The Addams Family."

The actress announced the news on her Instagram account, where she showed a photo of herself holding the script for the show.

"New chapter. Hope I can do Wednesday Addams justice," she wrote in the caption of her post.

The photo also revealed some of the geniuses behind the scenes including its director Tim Burton.
