GFRIEND to part ways with Source Music

K-Pop group GFRIEND is set to leave Source Music, their agency for six years.

According to a Soompi report, the six-member group’s contract with the agency will end on May 22, and they have decided to part ways “to continued growth.”

In a statement, Source Music mentioned how GFRIEND “won the boundless love of K-Pop fans” through their music and performances.

“We would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to GFRIEND who has allowed Source Music to accompany them on their journey,” it said.

“We would like to deeply thank all BUDDY and fans who have shown your love for GFRIEND.”

The agency said it would continue giving its support to the members as they start on their new journey and asked fans to do the same.

“We ask that you give your unchanging love and support to the members who will begin their adventures in new and diverse areas,” it said.

“Source Music will always continue to cheer for the members as they take the first step towards new beginnings.”
