Seo Ye Ji will not attend Baeksang Arts Awards, agency confirms
Seo Ye Ji will not attend the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, her agency has confirmed.
According to a Soompi report on Thursday, Gold Medalist said “due to personal reasons, [Seo Ye Ji] will not be attending the Baeksang Arts Awards.”
Seo Ye Ji won the TikTok Popularity Award in the female category after she received over 780,000 votes.
She was also nominated in the Best Actress category for her performance on tvN’s hit drama series “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.”
Last week, Seo Ye Ji’s agency also confirmed that the actress would be withdrawing from her supposed new drama series “Island.”
These events came after the controversy between her and “Crash Landing on You” actor Kim Jung Hyun erupted.
In April, it was reported that Seo Ye Ji allegedly controlled the actor’s behavior when he worked on his 2018 drama “Time.”
Both of them have since released statements about the issue.
The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards will air live on May 13 at 9 p.m. KST (8 p.m. in the Philippines). – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
