'Vincenzo' finale reaches top 10 highest rating in tvN history
After weeks of being in Netflix Philippines' top 10 trending list, "Vincenzo" has finally come to a record-breaking end!
According to a Soompi report on Monday, the series finale of "Vincenzo" reached first place in its time slot across all channels with its average nationwide rating of 14.6% and 16.2%.
It is the 6th highest rating in South Korean network tvN's history, surpassed only by internationally acclaimed series "Crash Landing on You," "Goblin," "Reply 1988," "Mr. Sunshine," and "Mr. Queen."
Aside from making its mark in its network's history, the finale episode also became the highest viewership rating of the show's entire run.
Ahead of its final episode, Vincenzo also trended on Twitter and remained at the top spot of the trend list all through Monday morning.
To mark the end of the show, "Vincenzo" lead actor Song Joong Ki took to social media to thank everyone for their overwhelming support.
"Vincenzo," which also stars Jeon Yeo Bee, revolves around Vincenzo Cassano, a lawyer who works for an Italian mafia and finds himself travelling to Korea to put his villainous plans in motion to take down other bad guys with him.
