Ed Sheeran works closely with ONE OK ROCK for 'Rurouni Kenshin: The Final' theme song
ONE OK ROCK has finally released "Renegades," the theme song for the upcoming film “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final" co-written by Ed Sheeran.
Apart from a stellar music video, the Japanese rock band also dropped a behind-the-scenes look that features lead singer Takahiro Moriuchi working with the British singer-songwriter in the studio.
The six-minute clip shows just how hands-on Sheeran was with the recording, from the rhythm and chords to the vocals of the song.
Sheeran also gave ONE OK ROCK some great advice, and even gave Taka a hug at the end.
"This is f---ing great,” Ed told the band after listening to the tune.
"The Final" is one of the two final movies for the live action film series "Rurouni Kenshin." The other is titled "The Beginning."
The back-to-back films will tell the origin story of Kenshin Himura's x-mark on the cheek, and are scheduled to air this April and June. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
