Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' wins album of the year at Grammys

Pop superstar Taylor Swift won album of the year at music's Grammy awards on Sunday for her surprise album "Folklore," which she released in July 2020.

"Folklore" is Taylor's 8th studio album and the first of two quarantine releases by the American pop star.

Competing against Taylor in the category were Post Malone, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Haim and the Black Pumas. 

Earlier, Beyonce made Grammys history by becoming the most decorated singer in the history of the music industry's top awards gala.  

Meanwhile, Fil-Am singer H.E.R. won song of the year for "I Can't Breathe." — Reuters
