EXO member Chanyeol’s military enlistment set in March

EXO member Chanyeol will start his military enlistment next month.

According to a report by Soompi, the news was confirmed by the K-Pop group’s agency SM Entertainment.

“Chanyeol will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on March 29,” said the agency’s statement, as translated in the report.

“His enlistment location and time will not be revealed, and no special events will take place,” it added.

Two days ago, the EXO rapper shared a heartfelt message to their fans, apologizing for “causing concern” and thanking them for their continued support.

The note was written months after rumors surfaced that someone claiming to be his former girlfriend had accused him of cheating on her.

Chanyeol is the fifth member of EXO to enlist after Chen and Suho, who are still serving, and D.O. and Xiumin, who have been discharged. – RC, GMA News
