Disney releases poster of Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil

A poster of Oscar awardee Emma Stone as Cruella de Vil signalling that the project is still pushing through has been released by Walt Disney Studios.

Also, the trailer for the live-action movie that is centered on the villain of the popular cartoon '101 Dalmatians' is expected to be released soon.

Stone, who won an Oscar as the female lead of the musical 'LA LA Land' opposite Ryan Gosling, is set lead the movie on the backstory of Cruella.

The movie is set to be shown on May 2021 and will also star Emma Thompson.

The character was first portrayed in the first two live action versions of the movie by Glenn Close. -- BAP, GMA News
