BTS are still at it!
The global superstars are surely on a high after receiving six awards at the 30th Seoul Music Awards.
According to a Soompi report, BTS took home the Daesang (Grand Prize), the Best Album Award, the Best Song Award, the K-Wave Award, the WhosFandom Award, and the Bonsang (Main Award).
This marks the group's fourth year in a row as the Daesang awardee. The WhosFandom Award, meanwhile, has also been won by their fans, the ARMYs.
Although they weren’t able to attend, the boys made sure to give their thanks through a video message.
“It is an honor to have won the Daesang for the 30th Seoul Music Awards. We are very happy and grateful to have won this award,” RM said.
“As we have received such a valuable award, it feels like we can start off this year with overflowing strength and energy. It is thanks to our ARMY that we were able to receive such a big award,” Jin added.
Jungkook continued, “Thank you very much for always cheering us on and showing us love. If you weren’t here, then BTS would not be here either.”
J-Hope said, “Due to the unforeseen pandemic in 2020, we weren’t able meet in person, but we hope that the situation will improve and the day will soon come when we can be together again.”
Jimin also thanked the members, their families, and the Big Hit Entertainment staff, “who work hard so that we can shine on stage."
V, meanwhile, hoped “that 2021 will be another happy year with BTS. Everyone, please stay healthy.”
Joining them in the Bonsang (Main Award) category as winners are IZ*ONE, ATEEZ, TXT, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, Kang Daniel, MONSTA X, NCT 127, NU’EST and Oh My Girl.
