Timothee Chalamet transforms into Harry Styles on SNL
Timothée Chalamet debuted a scream-worthy celebrity impression while hosting Saturday Night Live (SNL) last weekend.
The “Call Me By Your Name” star impersonated Harry Styles for one of the show’s talkshow-style sketches, dressed stylishly while making jokes in a British accent.
The actor had the audience laughing after making a joke about Styles’s song “Watermelon Sugar” which is widely suspected to be about oral sex.
Timothée also nodded at the singer's style icon status by introducing himself with the line: “I’m a singer and a sort of essential fashion man—you could say I do it for everyone.”
December 12, Saturday was Timothée’s first-ever hosting on SNL.
He played a variety of characters in different sketches including a tattooed rap artist alongside Pete Davidson, as well as showed off his vocals in a musical sketch about a “Tiny horse.”
The half-American, half-French actor, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in 2019, for “Call Me By Your Name" in is expected to star in several highly-anticipated films next year including Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” and Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch.”
