TWICE member Jihyo and Kang Daniel have reportedly broken up

TWICE member Jihyo and singer Kang Daniel have broken up after a year and three months of dating, Korean Dispatch reports.

Their reason? Both of them have become too busy with work. 

"They both have a clear goal. Both extremely focused on the album work and the number of meetings decreased," a close acquaintance of the ex-couple told the entertainment website.

Meanwhile, a source from Twice management, JYP Entertainment, confirmed the break up to Soompi. "It is true that they broke up recently," the source said. 

Kang Daniel’s agency will make a statement as soon as they've checked with their artist, Soompi added.

According to Korean Dispatch, the Kang Daniel and Jihyo started dating in August 2019, one year after they first met.

After taking a break last 2019, Kang Daniel released a couple of EPs this year, as TWICE made a raring comeback. The girl group first released a mini album "More & More" in June. The group then dropped a music video for "I Can't Stop Me" shortly before releasing their full-length "Eyes Wide Open" in late October. — LA, GMA News
