TXT releases new album ‘Minisode 1: Blue Hour,’ music video
K-Pop group Tomorrow X Together released on Monday their third mini album “Minisode 1: Blue Hour” with an accompanying music video.
The video features members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai in a colorful fantasy world in crop tops, cowboy hats, and other interesting fashion pieces as they perform their upbeat lead single “Blue Hour.”
The album’s description on the website of Big Hit Entertainment, the group’s agency, said TXT members “are making their way back into the hearts of fans all around the world with their new album brimming with stories only they can tell … as the world faces the unique and unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
According to a contributor on lyrics website Genius, Blue Hour’s lyrics “express the complicated emotions while looking up at the sky at 5:53 p.m., which is the sunset time for October in South Korea. It is also the time of the day ‘between the two worlds’—when the sky is the most beautiful, but also the time when shadows quickly grow.”
It also said the original title of the song in Korean could be translated as “You and I Found in the Sky at 5:53.”
Like their company seniors BTS, TXT has been making their mark in the music industry, winning rookie awards and leading “Top Album” charts in over 50 countries and regions, among other citations since their debut in March 2019. – RC, GMA News
