‘Enola Holmes’ actor Louis Partridge reveals hilarious moment when he found out he got role
Louis Partridge was beyond ecstatic to say the least when he found out he got the role on the upcoming film “Enola Holmes.”
During a media roundtable interview on Wednesday, the young actor revealed a hilarious moment when he found out he would be playing Tekwsbury, the runaway lord Enola crosses paths with.
Louis said that on the very same day he received the good news, he was about to take an exam.
Although his career was on its way up, the result of his exam that day was quite the opposite.
“I mean I found out on the day of the exam in the morning and I went in the exam completely, I couldn’t even concentrate. I was just so buzzing because I just found out that I got this part,” Louis narrated.
He added, laughing, “I did really badly, lowest mark I ever got ... I cannot concentrate.”
Nonetheless, Louis shared that he ended up spending his summer filming for “Enola Holmes.”
For the upcoming mystery adventure film, Millie Bobby Brown takes on the lead role of Enola, Sherlock and Mycroft’s teenage sister.
Aside from outwitting her clever brothers, she meets Tewksbury in the most surprising way and ends up crossing paths with him throughout the film.
Directed by Harry Bradbeer, the new film also stars Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin.
Based on the beloved book series by Nancy Springer, “Enola Holmes” will premiere on Netflix Sept. 23. – RC, GMA News
