'She Was Pretty' star Hwang Jung Eum files for divorce

"She was Pretty" star Hwang Jung Eum has filed for divorce after four years of marriage with former professional golfer Lee Young Don.

According to a Soompi report on Thursday, her agency C-JeS Entertainment confirmed the news.

"It's true that she filed for divorce. We will help her with the process so that it goes smoothly," the agency said.

"We ask for your understanding that we cannot share the reason for her divorce and other details of it because this is her personal matter," it added.

A source told Soompi that the South Korean actress filed for divorce on Wednesday, September 2.
