BTS rocks first-ever VMA performance with ‘Dynamite’

BTS just rocked the MTV 2020 Video Music Awards with their newly-released English single “Dynamite.”

The global K-pop sensation’s explosive pre-recorded performance featured the boys grooving to the beat with a backdrop of New York City hotspots.

It was most definitely a big night for BTS. 

Apart from rocking the global stage (virtually) with the likes of Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Doja Cat, CNCO and Maluma at their first VMAs, BTS emerged as victors as they won all four categories they've been nominated for: Best Group, Best K-Pop, Best Pop and Best Choreography.  

The internet led by the BTS Army is relishing the experience.

On YouTube, the clip of their performance now has 467,812 views as of writing.

On Twitter meanwhile, the K-pop group is lording it over with a few hashtags landing in the trending topics. "#DiscoOverloadWithBTS" has 130K tweets, "#BTSVMAS" follows closely with 103K tweets, while "#BTS paved the way" clocks in at 20K tweets.
