Cindy Crawford throws back to shoot for Vogue cover that inspired ‘Freedom! 90’ video

Cindy Crawford has shared behind the scenes photos from the shoot for the Vogue cover that inspired the equally iconic video for George Michael’s song “Freedom! ’90.”

“#TBT the @britishvogue cover that inspired George Michael’s Freedom90 video,” the American supermodel and actress said on Instagram.

The magazine’s January 1990 cover by Peter Lindbergh also featured Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Tatjana Patitz, and Christy Turlington.

In the same year, when English singer George Michael released “Freedom! ’90,” he asked the five supermodels on the Vogue cover to be featured in the song’s now iconic music video.
