Tom Holland begins filming for 'Uncharted'

Tom Holland has finally begun filming for "Uncharted," the film adaptation of the popular video game franchise of the same name.

The Spider-Man star made the announcement on Instagram with a photo that reads "Nate," his character, and the caption "Day one."

Production of the film was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Collider however, the cameras haven't started rolling just yet.

Holland will play a younger Nathan Drake as the film will be an origin story.

In the video game franchise "Uncharted," Nathan travels across the world to uncover various historical mysteries. The first game "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," was released in 2007.
